Siteadvisor have announced that McAfee have acquired them. (Announcement). This no doubt is great news for the Siteadvisor team and will give them great exposure through McAfee's existing customers. The good news out of this for the users is that what you currently see in the 'free' version of Siteadvisor will stay free and now have the backing from McAfee. This puts a end to my idea in a previous post here on the Yahoo, Digg and Siteadvisor theory I had thought about.
Congratulations to the Siteadvisor team on a great product and McAfee for picking them up.
Read all about Siteadvisor and get it installed for Firefox or IE as soon as you can for a safer internet experience.
