Tom – Yahoo does RSS

Tom the My Web 2.0 parts of Yahoo are developed around technologies such as RSS. There is a heap of info and then some on the site at http://developer.yahoo.net. J Wynia has whipped up some code that will parse an OPML file through Yahoo Search and output a summary of the reading list with the most popular entries as per the Yahoo's results. Yahoo loves RSS so we must love Yahoo. Technorati Tags: Tom, OPML

  1. No, I agree. I love the fact that they support RSS and OPML. That’s all good. The problem I have is that they don’t render it on the My Yahoo! page in a way that is really very easy to read, compared with Bloglines and NewsRiver.

It’s a shame because the experience of reading RSS on Yahoo isn’t, in my mind, great. But lots of newbies could be better involved in reading blogs and other RSS sources if the interface was better.
