Ben Barren is RSS’ing Down Under. He is now starting to get some serious link love from some serious influencers on the internet. The first piece of link love came from Alex Barnett who is the International Program Manager for MSDN and Technet at Microsoft in Redmond who has Ben at number 7 on his reading list. The second one came from the RSS and Podcast man himself Dave Winer. For a good read about Ben’s up and coming new project ‘gnoos’ pronounced just like ‘news’ and will be the Australian answer to Technorati and Google’s Blog Search have a read of the ZDNet interview with him. Gnoos is hoping to go live in late February and will be a very welcome asset to the Australian blogging community and in the global internet for a central source to all things Australian here. If you want a great insight into what is happening on the internet in 2006 and what you can look forward to in the very near future, there is not much more of a definitive source than Ben. The girls are not to shabby either. I am yet to meet Ben personally though after he see’s this post which no doubt he will, I will try to catch up with him sometime in the very near future.
