Tsunami One Year After

The 26th of December marked the first aniversary of the Boxing Day Tsunami that killed hundreds of thousands of people and left millions homeless. There have been many people returning to the beaches around the entire Asia Pacific region on this first anniversary for rememberance services. This single image shows the floating paper lanterns above the Andaman Sea in Thailand, one for each person killed by this disaster from that region.
